Unlike old fashion linseed oil based finishes, the unique VOLVOX ProAqua formula means it does not 'yellow' with time nor produce the pungent harmful smell associated with traditional solvent containing oil based paints. With a drying time of 15 minutes, it is ideally suited to today's busy lifestyle.
What sets VOLVOX ProAqua apart from other water-based paints?
Due to the VOLVOX ProAqua unique binding system, it does not contain the alkyds and oils common in most water based coatings. It is these alkyds and oils that cause paints to yellow with time and give other brands the toxic element, absent in VOLVOX ProAqua. For many water based paints acrylic softeners are an essential ingredient, with the acrylic giving the paints its 'toughness' and the softener preventing the coatings going brittle. Unfortunately, this element is extremely harmful to the environment and consumers health. Again, due to VOLVOX ProAqua unique binding system it does not use acrylic softeners, making it not only a hardwearing option but a healthier and environmentally friendly one too. However, don't just take our word for it, VOLVOX ProAqua has been independently tested by RWTUV. They found that during and after application and drying, the products did not emit any substances or gases that could be detrimental to the environment or our health. Environment and Health Features
VOLVOX Timber Deck Care is made from natural and non-toxic raw materials. Solvent and VOC free. Manufacturing process ensures ecological sustainability and avoids water pollution. The product will not charge electro static energy. When used according to manufacturer's direction, the product is harmless to human and the environment.
Ingredients
Highest Grade, organically grown, cold pressed Flax Seed Oil, Pigments, Lead-free Dryers (Zircon, Cobalt Octoat).
Application
Apply one coat of VOLVOX Timber Deck Care using an oil broom, floor applicator or a soft paint brush. After 30 minutes saturation time remove all oil from the surface with a lint free cloth. This is to prevent tacky and glossy spots. Let dry for 12 hours. Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C or above 30°C.
Care & Maintenance
Check Volvox Timber Deck Care treated surfaces from time to time and clean as necessary. If water repels, that's an indication that the surface is intact, if it doesn't its time to apply another coat. Clean surface and proceed as above.

Available in transparent wood colours of UV-Natural (exterior only) Clear (interior only), Pine, Walnut, Oak, Mahogany, Teak, White, Ebony, Citrus Yellow, Corn Yellow, Oriental Red, Meadow Green and Mondrian Blue. VOLVOX ProAqua Transparent Wood Finish can be used on windows, doors, pergolas, timber cladding, and other wood that should be protected interior and exterior. Depending on the pigment concentration it can appear transparent up to opaque.

Environment and Health Features

Water, earth pigments, mineral filling materials, vinegar ester, preservatives.
Application
Reduce VOLVOX ProAqua Transparent Wood Finish with 5-10% water. Stir well and apply and spread evenly. Use lacquer roller and/or paint brush and/or airless or Aircoat spray applicator. Let dry for at least one hour, then sand slightly (120-180 grid). Second coat can be applied undiluted, reduce with 5 - 10 water if necessary. After drying, sand again. For exterior wood protection, at least three coats are recommended. Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C or above 30°C.
Drying and re-coating
Depending on temperature and humidity, touch dry within 15 minutes, dry to sand and repaint after 1 hour.
Coverage
Depending on surface condition 0.75 litre for approx. 10 m², 2.5 litre for approx. 33 m² per coat
Clean up
Clean tools with soapy water after use away from drains.
Maintenance
Check vanish from time to time for aggressive pollution deposits and clean when necessary. If water repels, that's an indication that the VOLVOX ProAqua Transparent Wood Finish is intact, if it doesn't its time to rejuvenate. Clean surface and slightly sand then simply apply another coat.
VOLVOX ProAqua Enamel is an opaque covering, water based, oil and acrylic-free, satin paint for interior or exterior metal or wood surfaces. Free from chemical solvents (VOC free).
It is manufactured from natural raw materials that have minimal impact on the environment. Great for doors, window frames, furniture, shelving, skirting boards, fascia boards, cladding, garden furniture and other smooth planed wood.
INGREDIENTS
Water, earth pigments, mineral filling material, vinegar ester, titanium dioxide, preservatives.
APPLICATION
Reduce the first coat with 5-10 % water. Apply evenly and sparingly. A light sanding is advisable after the first coat has dried (grain size 180 - 240). Thereafter apply one to two undiluted coats. VOLVOX ProAqua Enamel can be applied by brush, roller or spray gun. Do not paint in temperatures below 8°C or above 30°C, immediately after rain, fog or frost or when these conditions are forecast.
COVERAGE
Depending on the pigmentation and the surface properties, 0.75 litre will cover 10 to 12 square metre, 2.5 litre will cover 35 to 40 square metres. Average use is 70-90 milliliters per square metre.
DRYING
Depending on room temperature and relative humidity, the product will be normally touch dry after 15-30 minutes and ready for sanding after 45 minutes. The surface can be painted over after about 2 hours.
CLEAN UP
With water, away from drains.
