There are two kinds of floor finishes: penetrating oils and film forming products. When you step on a floor whose surface has a protective film, you are not stepping on the flooring material — you are stepping on the film. The floor or stairs will remain protected as long as the film doesn't break down or wear through.
Stepping on a floor that has been finished with penetrating oil such as VOLVOX Hard Oil Wax Finish, can be a sensuous experience because penetrating oils are not film-forming. They dry within the wood and allow you to come into contact with the subtleties of its surface.
VOLVOX Hard Oil-Wax Finish for fine sanded timber surfaces and cork interior. The product enhances the look and feel of natural wood and dries to a satin-matt sheen. This water-repellent finish can also be used on furniture, kitchen and bathroom floors.

VOLVOX Hard Oil Wax Finish is very economical and easy to use. Just provide a clean, dry, firm and grease free surface. Apply very sparingly, ¾ of a litre should cover 35 – 40 square metre per coat.
